The Candidates' Handbook 

The Candidates' Handbook will provide you with detailed descriptions of the Optical Sciences 1 - Eyeglasses and Optical Sciences 2 Advanced Practice Contact Lens Examinations, and instructions on how you can register for the upcoming examinations.

Please be aware that effective January 1, 2012 there will be an increase in the cost of the National Optical Sciences 1 and Optical Sciences 2 Examinations. The cost of each examination will be $725.00. The new pricing will be in effect for all examinations taking place after January 1, 2012.
